Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Park
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve with lunch en route, arriving in time for an evening game drive. Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary, home to over 450 species of animals. Witness the Great Migration (seasonal) and resident wildlife year-round. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.
Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day
After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. Enjoy the scenic savannah grasslands on rolling hills. The park has an extensive road network, allowing close-range wildlife photography. Have a picnic lunch at the hippo pool while observing hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive before returning to camp for full breakfast. Depart to Nairobi with lunch en route, arriving in the evening for drop-off at your hotel.
Day 4: Nairobi – Arusha
Depart Nairobi via shuttle to Arusha, arriving at the Namanga border for immigration procedures. Continue to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Check in to the hotel booked on bed and breakfast. Overnight at Ambassador Hotel.
Day 5: Arusha – Lake Manyara
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and depart for Lake Manyara with lunch en route. Enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.
Day 6: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, descend 2,000 feet (670 m) into the crater floor for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. Spot diverse wildlife including black-maned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and other grazing animals. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.
Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha
After breakfast and a final game drive, leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at the Gorge Museum, followed by a visit to various sites where prehistoric human remains were discovered by Dr. L.S.B Leakey. Proceed to Arusha for overnight stay. (Dinner on own).
Day 8: Arusha – Zanzibar/Nairobi
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar for a beach holiday or take a shuttle back to Nairobi, with drop-off at the airport or hotel.
