5 Days Maasai Mara Lake Nakuru Lake Naivasha

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Your exciting 5-day Maasai Mara Kenya safari begins with a briefing by our office representative. Then, embark on your journey, making the first stop at the Great Rift Valley for breathtaking views and photography. Proceed to Narok for lunch and a short refreshment break before continuing to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in the afternoon.

Upon arrival, check into your booked accommodation, freshen up, and head out for an evening game drive. After this adventure, return to the lodge/camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day

After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You’ll explore different areas, including the famous Mara Triangle and the Mara River, which borders Tanzania and the Serengeti National Park.

The driver will make a few stops along the Mara River to allow you to stretch your legs during the game drive. With your packed lunch, take a 1-hour picnic break and soak in the stunning wildlife views before heading back to the lodge.

In the evening, you have an optional opportunity to visit a Maasai village to experience their unique culture, traditional singing, and dancing. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a lovely experience (Optional).

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Start with an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying a picnic lunch en route. You will pass by Lake Naivasha, where you may opt for a boat ride at an extra cost.

Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru, check in, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous for its diverse birdlife, including flamingos. The park also hosts a white rhino sanctuary, along with species such as cape buffalo and waterbuck near the shoreline.

After enjoying a hot lunch, drive to Lake Naivasha. Here, you have an option to take a boat ride in this freshwater lake to see hippos and fish eagles (extra cost). Later, check into your hotel/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

After breakfast, drive to Hell’s Gate National Park for a unique game drive. This is the only park where visitors can walk freely as there are no predators. You can choose to do the game drive in a safari vehicle or hire a bicycle to cycle the 11 km trail down to the gorge.

At the gorge, a local guide will share insights into the rock formations and the park's history. After the adventure, drive or cycle back to the gate and leave Naivasha with lunch en route back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in the evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your flight home.
